OVERDETAILED TECHNICAL NOTES
Copper is a metal with very high thermal and electrical conductivity, exceeded only by the silver’s ones; it is very resistant to corrosion and it is non-magnetic.
Copper is easy to work with, extremely ductile, malleable and bacteriostatic.
The weight of copper products is calculated by applying the conversion factor of the specific weight kg/dm like 8,89.
The electrical conductivity is ≥ 58m/Ω mm², maximum resistance of 20°C. of 0.017241 Ω mm²/m and a melting point of 1083°C.
All items from G.C.E. can be made in ETP copper (state of purity 99.90%) obtained by Cu-CATH, destined to electrical conductors and precious alloys, and OXYGEN-FREE copper (up to 20 parts per million of oxygen and up to 5 parts per million for the automotive industry).
