Soft Connection Usage
Soft connection equipment copper expansion joint, copper soft connection and bus bar are connection devices between rectifier transformer and rectifier cabinet. They are mainly used in electrolytic aluminium plant, non-ferrous metal, graphite carbon, chemical and metallurgical industries. It is used to connect large transformer with rectifier cabinet, rectifier cabinet with disconnector switch and bus bar. Copper expansion joint is used to prevent the switch or bus bar from breaking due to short circuit or hot account cold contraction, and the elasticity of expansion joint plays a protective role.

The current can reach tens of thousands of amperes. Soft connection is formed by high precision plastic deformation of thin seamless or welded stainless steel thin-walled pipe diameter. The elastic properties of bellows determine the flexibility and fatigue resistance of metal soft connections. The companion hose we provide has the following four forms of companion hose, that is, the additional hose is heated inside the normal hose. The external accompanying hose, that is, the additional hose is heated outside the normal hose. The jacket accompanies the hose, that is, the additional hose is completely covered with the overall heat tracing outside the normal hose. The vacuum jacket is accompanied by the hose. The soft connection additional hose is completely covered outside the normal hose and the middle is pumped into a vacuum state for insulation. These four kinds of hoses have excellent heat tracing and thermal insulation performance. The main materials are stainless steel products. They are not easy to corrosion and leakage. They can play the role of compensation movement and vibration absorption in the pipeline system. Soft connections can be installed in different ways. Flanges or threads can be used in connection forms. Air compressors, pumps and other units are prone to vibration when they work. Pipelines connected with these units are bound to vibration, which can lead to material failure, damage and weld cracking at the joint. If the resonance occurs on the connecting pipe, the damage is unavoidable. Soft connection can be divided into high frequency vibration and low frequency vibration by the frequency of vibration.
