Under normal circumstances, copper bar manufacturers do not recommend using copper as welding, but also because many characteristics of copper itself determine that it is not suitable for melt welding.

Even if the copper bar can be melted and welded, it can also be found that the grain size is very large after welding, resulting in a great reduction in the strength and plasticity of the joint; Especially when the impurity element is added, it will also reduce the conductivity of the copper bar joint and affect its normal use effect.

In addition, copper has excellent thermal conductivity and the cooling speed of the weld is faster, so the porosity is also one of the main difficulties in the melting welding of copper. In addition, the coefficient of linear expansion and shrinkage of copper is large, the copper bar will be deformed badly after welding, the appearance is difficult to form, and the residual force is large.
